The Estates at Acqualina
This project focused on the transformation of a luxury residential interior, integrating modern finishes, architectural lighting, and high-end detailing to elevate the overall living experience.
The scope began with the demolition of an existing fireplace, allowing for a reconfiguration of the space and the introduction of new electrical circuits to support a comprehensive lighting design. The lighting concept included recessed fixtures, track lighting systems, and perimeter LED illumination, all complemented by the installation of decorative light fixtures to enhance the ambiance.
A key architectural feature of the project was the incorporation of stretch ceilings (techo tensado), which contributed to a clean, contemporary aesthetic while seamlessly integrating the lighting design. Wall treatments included the application of high-end wallpaper and the installation of porcelain surfaces on walls and custom niches, adding texture and sophistication to the interiors.
Additional upgrades involved the replacement of traditional air conditioning grilles with linear diffusers, improving both functionality and visual appeal. The project also included detailed painting of ceilings, baseboards, and doors to ensure a cohesive and refined finish throughout the space.
Window treatments were carefully selected and installed, including fixed decorative curtains, blackout systems, and screen shades, balancing natural light control with design elegance.
The residence was also prepared for a full home automation system (by others), designed to integrate lighting, window treatments, and audio systems, further enhancing comfort and modern living.
Overall, the project delivers a refined, contemporary environment defined by clean lines, integrated technology, and high-end materials.
